Despite the fact that the concept of neuroplasticity is broad, vague, and hardly new, it is one of the most reliable and fundamental discoveries about the brain that we have to date. 

A pesar de que el concepto de neuroplasticidad es amplio, vago, y no es nuevo, es uno de los descubrimientos más fiables y fundamentales sobre el cerebro que tenemos hasta la fecha.

For when we tell ourselves that masterful abilities are simply unexplainable, we're also comforting ourselves by saying that those superheroes come endowed with all the qualities we don't possess.

No es suficiente  aprender mucho; también hay que manejar  lo que se aprende. Esos maestros tienen, bajo la superficie de su poder, algunos dones especiales de expertos "de orden superior", que les ayudan a organizar y aplicar las cosas que aprenden. Son esos trucos ocultos de gestión mental los que producen los sistemas que crean las obras del genio
